A successful career may be a cover for the most sad stories. A winner of both the USA and World Championships in the event of a hurdle, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through plenty of effort and immense patience. Jones was born into a single mother that included five kids living who were stricken by poverty and hardship as a child, had an extremely challenging childhood. Her mother was always shifting and even spent some time living at the bottom of her home. This nomadic life led Jones to change schools and attend a new school every year until the time she entered in high school. In Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones was separated from her mother in order to pursue her interest in athletics. She lived at four different houses during her years of high school, so she could attend all of her classes at one time.
